Processed Data and Purposes
If you visit the site, open an account, place an order, or contact us, the following data may be processed:
- First name, last name, phone, e-mail, delivery and billing address;
- Records related to membership, shopping cart, orders, payment status, invoices, shipping, cancellations, returns, and complaints;
- IP address, device, browser, session, and transaction security information;
- Consent and opt-out records for non-essential cookies based on commercial communication preferences.
These data are processed for the purposes of executing membership and order processes, completing payment and delivery, issuing invoices, finalizing returns and requests, ensuring security, preventing fraud, and fulfilling legal obligations.
Processing is based on the conclusion or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, the establishment or protection of a right, and legitimate interests, provided that it does not infringe upon your fundamental rights. Marketing, personalized advertising, and non-essential cookies are based solely on your separate consent when necessary. Not giving this consent will not prevent you from making a purchase.
DM Medicine does not request health information in order for you to purchase its products. We ask that you refrain from sending diagnoses, prescriptions, or non-essential health information to customer service.
Transfer, Storage, and Security
Your data may be transferred to shipping companies, banks and payment institutions, e-invoice/accounting services, information technologies and customer support providers, and legally authorized institutions only to the extent necessary. In the event of a transfer abroad, the appropriate transfer method under Article 9 of the KVKK shall be applied.
Data is retained for the duration required by the purpose of processing and by applicable tax, commercial, consumer, and statute of limitations laws; at the end of this period, it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. DM Medicine implements security measures proportionate to the risk, including access controls, encryption, audit trails, backups, and vendor controls. The full card number and security code are not stored in DM Medicine’s systems.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to find out whether your data is being processed, to request information, to verify whether it is being used in accordance with its intended purpose, to know to whom it has been disclosed, to request corrections, to request erasure or destruction if the conditions are met, to object to the results of automated processing, and to request compensation for damages.
